*************************

While TALK TALK might have began as a fairly typical synth-pop band that was formed in 1981 by Mark Hollis (vocals, guitar, piano), Lee Harris (drums), Paul Webb (bass), and Simon Brenner (keyboards), it was their eventual shifting of their attentions to a more experimental style that helped pave the way for the post-rock movement. With an attitude of instrumental exploration and a willingness to abandon traditional structures, TALK TALK has garnered the praise of many who cite them as an influence to this day.

We would also like to acknowledge James Marsh whose art became and is a part of the Talk Talk legacy. The cover art is a reimagining and interpretation in the style of James Marsh.

“Yesterday's Favourite” is offered 100% free of charge (or "Pay What You Want" to help support future releases).

Compiled and Produced by Coitus Interruptus Productions & Yvette Winkler.

Mastered by Jasyn Bangert.

Artwork by Greg Rolfes of Eleven12 Design & Photography.
