The Klinik, consisting of Dirk Ivens and Marc Verhaeghen, have been described as one of the most influential Belgian industrial bands in history. Formed in the early-to-mid 1980s, Verhaeghen's cold and harsh analogue synth-work, paired with Ivens' minimalist lyrics and hissing vocals have gone on to inspire whole generations of young electronic artists.

Along with being one of the progenitors of the monotone, experimental music movement, The Klinik also made a name for themselves with their uncompromising and powerful live shows, often performing to strong video images, wearing long black leather coats and their heads wrapped in gauze.

“Snakedressed” brings together a collection of today’s bands in order to pay respectful tribute to the songs of The Klinik, Dive and Absolute Body Control.

All songs originally written and recorded by The Klinik, Dive and Absolute Body Control.
